Agent Makala

Agent Makala planned our activities today and she had an obstacle course for the students to try to maneuver around. They were to pretend the streamers were lasers that they couldn't touch on their way through. Lots of fun!

Chayse sits to think about how to finish.

Tess & Cade slide their way through.

CIA Planetarium Visit

Chadron Intermediate After School Program will be heading to Chadron State College campus this Thursday (April 7, 2016) to visit the science department. We have the opportunity to sit in on planetarium shows and tour the geology museum.
Thursday will be a little different schedule wise. We will be leaving the school as soon as the students are dismissed. Once we arrive at the college, the 3rd graders will go to the planetarium and 4th graders will tour the geology museum Then, around 4:30, we will switch and 3rd graders will tour  the museum and 4th graders will sit in on the planetarium show.
We do ask that you do not pick up your student during the shows because it would cause interruptions with the lighting. If you come between showings that would be fine. Each show lasts about 45 minutes, so 3rd grade will be in a show from 3:25-4:10 and then the 4th graders will be in a show from 4:15-5:00. These shows may last longer depending on student participation.
We will be back to the Intermediate school around 5:30. If you wish to pick up your child while we are at the college, please do so, just respect the planetarium shows. Agent Morgan will have 3rd grade check out sheets and agent Cara will have 4th grade check out sheets.

If you have special requests for your student please let us know ahead of time.

Thank you,
CIA Staff
