CIA FIELD MISSION 2013

CIA'S END OF THE YEAR FIELD MISSION WAS A GREAT SUCCESS:  GREAT SPORTSMANSHIP, CREATIVE CHEERS, AND EXCELLENT PERFORMANCE IN THE EVENTS!  STUDENTS MADE TIE DYE HEADBANDS, DECORATED A RELAY BATON, AND CAME UP WITH A TEAM NAME AND TEAM CHEER FOR THE EVENT EARLIER IN THE WEEK.  POINTS WERE AWARDED IN THESE CATEGORIES:  TEAM CHANT/CHEER; SPONGE RELAY; TUG OF WAR; SACK RACES; TEAM RUNNING RELAY; AND SPORTSMANSHIP.  THE RED GORILLA WRESTLERS WERE THE CHAMPS, BUT ALL TEAMS EXPERIENCED SUCCESS IN MANY EVENTS.  WE HAD THE PURPLE PEOPLE EATERS, THE GREEN NINJAS, THE YELLOW NINJAS, THE ORANGE CHEETAS, RED GORILLA WRESTLERS, AND THE BLUE THUNDER.  RUTH, AUSTIN, AND MICHAEL WERE RECOGNIZED AT THE END FOR THE MOST ATTENDANCE THIS YEAR.  MRS. SWINNEY REPORTED THAT 98 OUT OF OVER 130 REGISTERED CIA STUDENTS ATTENDED OVER 30 DAYS THIS SCHOOL YEAR!  WHAT A GREAT YEAR!  WE ENDED THE CELEBRATION WITH POPSICLES!

BEST WISHES FOR A GREAT SUMMER FROM THE CIA STAFF!
